LOVE these colors for spring! Holidays are not the only time of year for capturing beautiful family photos…hint hint! 😉
I’ve been going back through my fall pictures and this session really stands out to me. Look at these girls, could they be any cuter? Their smiles were absolutely infectious. We ended up having a blast and trying to narrow down my favorite pictures was almost impossible, each one makes me happier than the last!

Piper from Coconut and Bean (awesome blog, please go read) is a good friend of mine so she said she was cool with me showing you some behind the scenes pics of our recent Valentine’s Day shoot with her girls. I thought this might give you a chuckle and show that not all shoots run like well oiled machines. Can I please add that I made the HUGE mistake of bringing my own kids to this session as well as shooting it while sick. Two things I learned very quickly don’t work! Please enjoy the following “outtakes” but don’t miss out on some of the winners we got towards the end. 😉
I call these “the pass out”, “the silly faces”, “the you are crazy lady” alongside “the sister strangle” and the best one… “the seriously?'”
All kidding aside, I love these girls and despite the challenges we caught some sweet moments and had some serious giggles!

This is awesome, I just saw something similar with someone’s hair moving. LOVE it. You will have to teach this to us in September!
I love his expression as he looks back and thinks, “yeah…I got this!” I am surprised you stayed so still, I would have been jumping up and down and missed all the shots.ReplyCancel

This reminds me of my dgahuter’s first birthday. I was a stay at home mom and involved in a playgroup. We all met when the kids were just crawling. All the kids are now 7 years-old. Two of my dgahuter’s playgroup friends are in her 2nd grade class this year. It’s so sweet to see the girls get so excited to see each other. They don’t remember not knowing each other.ReplyCancel
Yes! The holiday rush is over, the cards have been sent and it’s time to start sharing some of my favorite pictures from the last few months! I adored each and every family I met and feel so blessed to have had such a fun and fabulous first holiday season! This mama knocked it out of the park with her holiday styling and we couldn’t have asked for a more glorious day!
