Before my husband and I were married, we traveled to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate my 30th birthday (am I aging myself here?). While there, we went on a timeshare tour in order to receive a free gift from our hotel. We fell in love with the place and found ourselves seriously contemplating buying one. The sales girl asked “Well, are you planning to get married?” We looked at each other and in that moment both decided “Yeah, I think we are!” We always joke that my husband may never gone on that tour if he knew he was not only going to get a timeshare but also a wife! It turned out to be awesome because the trip is paid for already and it makes us take a fun family vacation each year.
One of the highlights for us is whale watching. You can actually see them from our hotel because they travel really close to the shore as they come around the tip of Baja. But it’s even more fun to take a whale watching cruise and get right out there with them. They never let us down, giving us a show each time. We also had some fun with sea lions this trip. The kids were in heaven!
